gembotPrivacy Policy
This page describes what we collect when you use gembot and how we keep that data protected. We take your privacy seriously. We do not sell your information to advertisers, and we do not share your data with third parties without your consent—except where required by law (such as anti-money-laundering compliance or law enforcement requests).
When you open an account on gembot, you provide personal information: email, name, identity document number, address, and payment details. We collect this data to operate our platform, verify your identity, process deposits and withdrawals, and comply with legal obligations. We encrypt all data and store it on secure servers. Our privacy practices apply equally to all players—whether you are in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, or Semarang.
This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who has access to it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. If you have questions about our privacy practices, our support team can clarify.
What Data We Collect on gembot
We collect different types of data depending on how you use gembot. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. When you complete identity verification, we collect your full name, date of birth, national ID number (or passport number), and proof of address. When you make a deposit or withdrawal, we collect payment information—your bank account number, mobile wallet identifier, or payment provider details.
We also collect behavioral data: your login history, which games you play, which sportsbook markets you bet on (Liga 1, Piala AFF, Champions League, Premier League, MotoGP, badminton), how much you deposit and withdraw, and how long you spend on our platform. We use this data to improve our service, detect fraud, and comply with regulatory requirements. We do not use this data to profile you for marketing purposes or sell it to third parties.
We collect technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system. We use this data to troubleshoot technical issues, prevent fraud, and ensure our platform is secure. We do not track your location in real time, but we may infer your general location from your IP address to verify that you are accessing gembot from a jurisdiction where our services are available.

How We Use Your Data on gembot
We use your data for several purposes. First, we use it to operate gembot—to process your deposits and withdrawals, settle your bets, credit your bonuses, and manage your account. Second, we use it to verify your identity and comply with anti-money-laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations. Third, we use it to detect and prevent fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities. Fourth, we use it to improve our platform—to understand which games are popular, which payment methods work best, and where our service has technical issues.
We do not use your data to send you unsolicited marketing emails or SMS messages. We may send you transactional emails (account verification, deposit confirmation, withdrawal notification) and service announcements (platform maintenance, policy changes). If you opt in to our newsletter, we send you periodic updates about new games, tournaments, or promotions—but you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not use your data to profile you for targeted advertising. We do not sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies. We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you (such as denying your withdrawal request based on an algorithm). All decisions about your account are made by our human team.
Third-Party Processors and Data Sharing
We use third-party service providers to operate gembot. Our payment processors handle deposits and withdrawals. Our hosting provider stores our servers. Our email provider sends our transactional emails. Our analytics provider helps us understand how players use our platform. We require all third-party processors to sign data-processing agreements that commit them to protecting your data and using it only for the purposes we specify.
We may share your data with law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law. For example, if a court issues a subpoena or if we receive a request from an anti-money-laundering regulator, we will comply. We do not voluntarily share your data with government agencies—we only do so when legally required.
We do not share your data with other players, other platforms, or marketing partners. Your betting history, payment information, and personal details remain confidential. The only exception is if you explicitly consent to sharing (for example, if you authorize a third-party analytics tool to access your account data).
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on gembot. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and track your activity on our platform. We use session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which remain on your device for a longer period).
We use cookies for several purposes: to authenticate you (keep you logged in), to remember your preferences (language, theme), to track your activity (which games you play, which markets you bet on), and to prevent fraud (detect suspicious login attempts). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or to build a profile of your browsing habits outside gembot.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. However, some features of gembot may not work properly if you disable cookies. For example, you may be logged out frequently or unable to place bets. We recommend keeping cookies enabled for the best experience.
Your Rights on gembot
You have several rights regarding your data on gembot. You have the right to access your data—to see what information we have collected about you. You have the right to correct your data—to update your name, address, or other personal information if it is inaccurate. You have the right to delete your data—to request that we erase your personal information (though we may retain some data for legal compliance purposes).
You have the right to data portability—to request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format. You have the right to object to our processing of your data—to ask us to stop using your data for certain purposes (though we may continue using it where legally required). You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if you believe we have violated your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our support team. We will respond to your request within 30 days. If your request is complex or requires investigation, we may extend the deadline to 60 days. We will not charge you for exercising your rights, except in cases where your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Data Retention and Account Closure
We retain your data for as long as your account is active on gembot. If you close your account, we retain your data for a reasonable period afterward—typically 7 years—to comply with anti-money-laundering regulations and to resolve any disputes. After this period, we delete your data, except where we are legally required to retain it.
If your account is inactive for 12 months or longer, we may close it. We notify you before closure and give you an opportunity to reactivate your account. Once your account is closed, we retain your data according to our retention schedule above.
If you request account deletion, we delete your personal data (name, address, ID number) but retain transaction records (deposits, withdrawals, bets) for legal compliance. We anonymize your data so it cannot be linked back to you.
Our gembot Data Security Practices
We take data security seriously. We encrypt all data in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (using AES-256 encryption). Our servers are protected by firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and regular security audits. We limit access to your data to authorized employees who need it to perform their jobs. We require all employees to sign confidentiality agreements.
We conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. We maintain incident response procedures—if we detect a data breach, we investigate immediately, notify affected players, and report to relevant authorities as required by law. We maintain cyber insurance to cover potential losses from data breaches.
However, no security system is perfect. We cannot guarantee that your data will never be compromised. If you suspect unauthorized access to your gembot account, contact our support team immediately. We will help you secure your account and investigate the incident.
International Data Transfers
Our servers may be located outside your jurisdiction. When you use gembot, your data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than Indonesia. These countries may have different data protection laws than Indonesia. By using gembot, you consent to these international data transfers.
We take steps to protect your data during international transfers. We use standard contractual clauses (approved by data protection authorities) to ensure that data processors in other countries provide adequate protection. We do not transfer your data to countries that lack adequate data protection unless you explicitly consent.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy at any time. We notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on gembot. Your continued use of gembot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new policy. If you do not agree with changes, you may close your account.
Contact Us About Privacy
If you have questions about our privacy practices, want to exercise your rights, or want to report a privacy concern, contact our support team. We maintain a dedicated privacy team that responds to all inquiries within 5 business days. You can also contact our data protection officer if you have concerns about how we handle your data.
Our services are available only where local law permits. We do not offer our services in jurisdictions where online wagering is prohibited. Users are responsible for verifying that access and use of gembot comply with their own jurisdiction's law. If you have questions about jurisdiction or compliance, contact our support team.
We maintain this privacy policy to ensure transparency about how we collect, use, and protect your data on gembot. We update it quarterly to reflect changes in our data practices, technology, or legal requirements. Your privacy is our priority.
